SedPortal is a web service designed to offer free and member-supported content and teaching materials to industry and other interested parties.

SedPortal went live in 2009 and is currently actively being updated with new content.

The site was created and is maintained by Boyan Vakarelov, PhD who is a practicing sedimentologist and sequence stratigrapher.
